Biography:

photo of Pascale CarayonDoctor Pascale Carayon is a University of Wisconsin Professor of Industrial Engineering and the Director of the Center for Quality and Productivity Improvement (CQPI.)  Professor George E. P. Box and the late Professor William G. Hunter founded the CQPI in October of 1985. Since it's inception, the CQPI has been in the forefront of developing new techniques for improving the quality of products and processes. The Center's mission is to create, integrate and transfer knowledge to improve the quality and performance of industrial, service, government, health care, educational, social and other organizations. Dr. Carayon will discuss how the Center applies a system model to helping solve issues in quality of work processes, products, working life and health care.
