MAQIN is led by a all volunteer board of directors who, with paid staff, conduct the work of the organization on behalf of our members. We are committed to the principles of participatory governance and are invested in MAQIN's future. Members of the board are active in leadership roles - as executives, managers, and quality experts in their organizations. Board of Directors
Purpose:
Is the oversight body for the corporation. Ensures that the organization is meeting its stated goals, is finanically stable, and continues the good works of MAQIN. Sets the strategic direction for the organization. Brings information about trends, needs, and offerings for the organization to consider.

The second Thursday of every even numbered month. Call MAQIN for time & location.
Executive Committee
Purpose:
Works to ensure that quality organizational and governance structure is in place for the organization to remain active & energetic. Includes the fiduciary duties of financial management, legal oversight, and staff management & development. Ensures that paid staff have the resources they need to do their job for MAQIN.

Networking & Program Committee
Purpose:
Works to plan programming on topics of interest to members, provide opportunities for members to network with each other and ensure an income stream to MAQIN through trainings and programs.

Meets the third Monday of each month at MAQIN. Call for times.

Marketing & Membership Committee
Purpose:
Works to ensure that membership is aware of all offerings, that the membership grows and remains active in the life of MAQIN, and that the greater community has an awareness of MAQIN, it's role, and many offerings.

Technology & Infrastructure Committee
Purpose:
Works to ensure that MAQIN has the technology and infrastructure needed to deliver information, and that staff have the hardware, software and technical infrastructure needed to do their jobs.

Community & Outreach Committee
Purpose:
Works to provide a linkage between MAQIN and vital community based efforts. Also serves to link MAQIN alumni with the current work of our organization.
